Chevrolet is engaged into crafting a sedan makeover of the best running vehicle known as the Beat. This model is being crafted with the gen-next hatchback. The gen-next Beat, that is been targeted to cater to the Indian market, would be a transformed variant of the present car, instead of the new Spark.

It has been clearly mentioned by the General Motors that the new Spark would not be scheduled to enter the market of India, owing to the pricing refrains, hampering its entrance into the country.

An official from the company also quoted that the new Spark that made its global entrance earlier in this current year, was only meant for urban markets and in a market like India that is centric on the cost factor, there is no point introducing the new Spark here, as there are chances that it may not prosper.

This compact sedan in question is expected to acquire an identical style pattern similar to the gen-next Beat. The car’s dimensions would be less than four-meters.

The Chevrolet Spark running in the international markets would distribute its elements to both of the Beat variants. However there are no specific information been received yet about the components this new car would feature.

The Chevrolet Beat sedan is predicted to sport a 1.0-litre three-cylinder diesel unit along with an identical petrol version. The three-cylinder petrol unit is a smaller version of the 1.4-L four-cylinder Ecotech mill that is housed in the new Spark and the three-cylinder diesel motor.

Beat sedan is probable to make its first appearance in the year 2017, likely to its hatchback sibling.
