2014 Land Rover Evoque launched in UK

The vehicle will go on sale by the end of this year in UK. Detailed design enhancement and deriver assistance features are provided to the vehicle along with the new driveline.

With a few tweaks Land Rover launched its 2014 Evoque in UK. ZF’s nine-speed Transmission system is introduced in the new vehicle 2014 Evoque by Land Rover. The vehicle will go on sale by the end of this year in UK. Detailed design enhancement and deriver assistance features are provided to the vehicle along with the new driveline.

The new transmission system, ZF-9HP automatic transmission has an adaptive shift programme with an ultra-fast response that matches the driving style quickly. Nine-speed transmission got a wide range of ratios to be select resulting in reduced emissions, bettor comfort, enhance performance and lead to better and improved fuel economy of the vehicle.

Land Rover continues its four cylinder engine in 2014 Evoque. Land Rover previously have four cylinder engines like 2.2litre diesel engine that churns out 150PS of power, 2.2litre diesel engine providing 190PS of power and 2.0litre petrol engine capable of producing 240PS. Fuel economy is increased to 11.4kmpl due to the nine-speed transmission and the Active Driveline. This favours in reducing CO2 emissions by nine percent.

Active Driveline allows the vehicle to shift from four wheel drive to front wheel drive during its flight as the vehicle crosses 35kmph. Switching back can be done within 3 seconds. 2014 Evoque got latest technologies like automatic exiting from the parking bays, traffic sign recognition, parking assist, cruise control, lane departure etc.
