Latest spied pictures of the Royal Enfield Himalayan while the bike is been assembled at a production set up are floating all over the web. Although while looking at the pictures, it seems like the bike is still under assemblage, as it does not look complete. The Himalayan would be built around the similar twin downtube frame that also bounds the Royal Enfield Continental GT; it seems to be quite passionately modified, in order to support the bike’s off-road potential. It acquires a stiffer sub frame at the back, whereas the engine’s escalating points are special. Although the compacted engine’s displacement hasn’t been exposed as of now, it appears largely different than the present cluster of Royal Enfield units. The clutch assemblage, chain and sprocket seem to be shifted towards the left hand side, whereas the oil filter has been relocated to the bottom towards the right hand side.
Royal Enfield has also dumped the kickstarter, at the same time as the rear disc brake is positioned on the right side. The arrangement of the Suspension is costumed of conventional telescopic forks at the fore along with a monoshock at the back.
