KTM 250 Duke and KTM RC250 makes a debut in Japan

The Bajaj inherited KTM?s latest motorcycles were showcased at the show. Both the machines are expected to be launched in June 2015, in Japan. The bikes are estimated at INR 3.25lakhs for the RC250 and INR 2.88lakhs for the 250 Duke.

As per the reports, the Rc250 and the 250Duke would be solely manufactured in India and then would be sent out on exports across the globe. There is ‘nt much information out regarding the machines. As reported by the KTM officials, the engine has been a trimmed version of 390. Balancing at a class-lowest 37.2 kg, it pulls out 31 hp at 9,000 rpm, with ultimate force of 24 Nm at 7,250 rpm. The RC250 balances 147 kg, while the Duke points at 139 kg.

Likely to its siblings, the machines gather around at the similar steel trellis physique. Looks like the design and the layout has been inspired by the moto3 project. The low supplanted machines would be produced at the Chakan plant of the Bajaj Motors. The evolved RC250, also mostly likely would be produced at the same facility.
