Once launched in India, it would be estimated and made to sit right below the Versys 1000 that was put up on sale in January earlier this year.

A parallel-twin 649 cc dynamo gives power to the Versys 650 which as per the brand has been adjusted for better productivity and enhanced high-end output. Paired to a 6-speed transmission, this engine produces 69 PS and 64 Nm of Force. The suspension of the bike has been renewed and there are claims to be speculated on the rear suspension that would be enhanced now for seated riding or load-carrying activities. To add on, the Versys 650 2015, sports a new system on the braking system: a bigger 250 mm disc at the back, a renewed master cylinder, new calipers and new brake pad stuff.

Taking about the cosmetic make over, the Versys 650’s layout is crafted with inspiration from its older sibling, the Versys 1000. A new and bigger moving windscreen, dual headlamps, a bolder rear cage and a large 21L fuel tank good enough to fill up to 19 L. Placed as an all-rounder, traveler and daily commuter, the Versys 650 would be estimated at INR 5.45 lakh, wherein the Versys 1000 is priced at INR 12.9 lakhs, ex-Showroom, Pune.
