Yamaha R3 machine is also being considered for the Indian roads and the brand has imported a few units for testing too. The machine is estimated for INR 3lakhs, ex showroom.
Yamaha presented the R3 bike at the extant Bangkok International Motor Show 2015. The machine is also being considered for the Indian roads and the brand has imported a few units for testing too. The YZF-R3 had its debut at the 2014 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, in November 2014. Estimated and disposed above the R25, another motorcycle considered for India as reported, the R3 is powered by an inline twin-cylinder 321 cc engine pulling 42 PS and 29.6 Nm of force. Teamed up with a 6-speed gearbox is in charge of transmission functions.
Engineers have designed the R3 with racing-derived specs such as forged pistons and low friction pistons, a direct drive camshaft and carburized conrods. Yamaha has enriched the R3 with a 298 mm disc up front and a 220 mm disc at the rear. Our take on the machine as per the looks and specifications is quite Racer like.
While the bike has been imported for tests, India Yamaha Motor has not confirmed a launch as of now. The machine is expected to give a tiff to KTM RC390 and Kawasaki Ninja 300. The machine is estimated for INR 3lakhs, ex showroom.Indian roads will have to wait for a ride on this machine although!
